why

I'm not for or against MLM's, but people keep saying it's a pyramid scheme... um, unless your a CEO, your at the bottom or middle of a pyramid.
-
MLM products are sold by recruiting a revolving door of new "reps" who buy products to "do the business." And since people perceive the opportunity as dwindling with each new "rep," market saturation requires promoters to recruit elsewhere. So MLM's quickly evolve into Ponzi schemes, requiring the opening of new foreign markets and/or new product div's to repay earlier investors. It's not turnover, but recruiting to replace dropouts.
-
Research, w/ worldwide feedback, says that the more a person invests in an MLM the more they lose -- which is true of any scam. Committed MLM participants may invest thousands, and even tens of thousands of dollars, over years before running out of cash or giving up. In legitimate companies, sales reps are not asked to buy inventory or monthly purchases. But in MLM, incentivized purchases are merely disguised or laundered investments in a product-based pyramid scheme.
-
@TheFamilyProctor If you are making money it's because your downline has yet to drop out…. 95% will! But, sounds more like the classic "Fake it, until you make it". As I said before, nobody admits they aren't doing well as that would hinder recruiting efforts and your ability to climb the Pyramid. MLM is in a state of constant collapse where infinite and virgin markets don't exist. Recruitment numbers don't reflect new money, but replacing what already dropped out.
-
Really, I am making money at Arbonne. After 5 months in my business, I have replaced the salary from my old job. So your comment about not making money is not true.
-
Nobody that sells Arbonne will admit that they are not making any money because that would counter their efforts towards recruiting more? no-money-making suckers so that they might someday make some money doing it. It's brilliant!
I must commend Arbonne for recruiting and brainwashing such a dedicated army of suckers. By the way,? that white Mercedes that your devoting your life towards achieving costs less than $10,000.00 a year to drive. Most MCjobs pay more than that.
-
@adabarziv WRONG!!!! In MLM the cream doesn't rise to the top- SHIT FLOATS!
-
This is a PYRAMID SCHEME you fucking idiots!
-
anyone who speaks negative if arbonne or mlm in general is just ignorant. or had a bad past with a pyramid. and they think all mlms are pyramids when its simply not true. theres a right way and a wrong way to so business. educate yourself first. then apply yourself. and the business only fails when you fail. it comes down to you and your belief.
-
This is a great company that offers amazing support and it can be done! You just have to do the do and use the tools and coaching that is offered!
-
Welcome this opportunity with an open mind. I had my doubts as well... until I started my Arbonne business with no prior experience 6 year ago... and have built a 6-figure yearly residual income, without any prior experience! You can do whatever you think you are capable of... and with solid leadership, and a company that has stayed the course for 30+years, the ball is in your court!
-
IF you can "drip" on (soft/hardsell) everybody in all directions of you.. And devote all of your time and energy to the multiple white plastic containers ... convince your niece and a few girlfriends to sign on...then maybe enough thirty to eighty dollar orders will keep coming in for you to get $300 per month so you can pay your own 125 per month bill... Pure Swiss and Natural .... But really made in California packaged in white green and gold plastic.... One in a hundred probaby make a go
-
very nice!
-
@topsocmed You're right about pyramids needing a constant flow of recruits. This is because they pay based on their "consultants" talking to people about the business or getting new recruits to sign up. The difference with Arbonne (or other network marketing/MLM companies), is that they won't pay anyone until product actually moves. No money is made by simply talking to someone or getting them to sign up. What a smart way to do business!

@MLMpyramidScam If one has a garage full of crap to front load, that is their own fault. How can you keep your ranking without clientele? To do that makes no sense at all. I fail to understand why anyone would start a business without expecting to have to work or expecting everyone to be 100% successful. That is never true for ANY business. Arbonne offers product. Buy it or dont. Start your own business selling or dont. Its a boutique without a roof.
-
I part time w/Arbonne and love it (and the xtra $). You really only have to recruit if you want it to be your full time job. I saw it as though it were a franchise, but with much lower costs and responsibility. I spent less than $600 to start up. I dont go to work when I don't want to. I sell a great product to the people who want it, just like a boutique with no building but better customer service. And if others want to sell it too, I hook them up. Pyramids = MLM w/no product or service.

Shaklee,Arbonne,Avon, all mlm bs.

@adabarziv You are so right..people that fail are the ones that always bad mouth the company instead of taking a mirror and looking at the person that was the cause of their failure...Arbonne is the most amazing company i have ever had the fortune to bee a part of..this was a gift to me and i am living the life i choose xx
People fail because the system itself dooms nearly all participants to failure. Arbonne is built on an endless chain of recruitment of participants as primary customers. It assumes both infinite markets and virgin markets, neither of which exist. It is therefore inherently flawed, fraudulent, and profitable only for founders and those at or near the top of their respective pyramids of participants. Even with their best efforts, the vast majority will always lose money.

THE CREAM RAISES TO THE TOP!
It is the easiest to BLAME the company, the industry etc. instead of taking responsibility.
Bad mouthing is a bad Karma for YOU, what goes around comes around.
When you Work and treat your business as a business - This business WORKS for YOU!
I started a business with $600 (!) investment , 11 years ago. If it was legally allowed - I would display my checks in a NY minute.
This business is for EVERYONE, but not everyone is for this BUSINESS.
who's next?
