Using the music of Irving Berlin, J S Bach, and Handel, Tracy Everitt offers a humorous tap dance in which the conductor is brought into the choreography with a wink at the classical music lover (a la Victor Borge). He shows how all worlds of music can be lovingly combined in his tap dance style. The conductor, Gary Schneider, serves two roles; 1) He has done a masterful re-orchestration of two classical pieces fusing them with one pop music piece which serve as counter point to Tracy's taps. 2) He is a willing foil for Tracy's seeming disapproval of the goings on of the orchestra.
I've studied tap with Tracy and have always known what a great tap dancer he is. Seeing this, I realize that I've never known how truly talented he really is. His performance goes way beyond the taps - he is a fantistic dancer and a true artist.
