@rays130226 I've read somewhere that they had a CR-78. But you're right that's exactly the same loop pitched down.

@HelloNewYorkCity watching a lot of these demos of old stuff I could recognize a lot of known riffs, it's amazing. I remember when a friend appeared in the 80's with that old Casio VL-Tone about the same time Trio's Da-da-da was in the charts here ( 83, in fact, although the song was released in 82) and we found amazing that it had the "entire song" into a "pocket calculator" (it's not really pocket-sized though...).

how about another video where you record the drum machine's line out directly?
EVERY demo of an old drum machine has been ruined by room noise & bad speakers & mics.
was hoping to find some HQ cheesy beats for remixing, but can't find any sadly.
