  • BADASS!

  • @zakkyummms Thank you, and I agree with this sentiment.

  • so how exactly does that work? and where can i get one or how do i make one?

  • @trigsim There are a few videos on Youtube about how to make your own for cheap, or visit the website in the description to get one just like mine. Steve can supply chaga for you as well

  • looks like you cheated a bit , at minute 1:21 you can see an ember before you do your compression cycle looks like you might have done a couple of compressions before the actaul demo and had an ember before you thouhg you did , I do think it is very cool and have seen other vids like yours and it is really cool seeing the action thru the plexi .

Thanks for posting your vid .

  • Nice Eye! Unfortunately for you, what you're seeing is actually the reflection from the red record light from the camera. It is visible again at the very end of the video. Sorry no tricks here.

  • @Hardtailxxx can u make a bic lighter?

  • I left my fire piston in the yard and a damn squirrel grabbed it with its mouth and ran up a tree. Now, I am afraid this squirrel will light my house on fire for hunting most of its family.

  • did you get high with all them smoke lol j/p

  • @morgan1492 It's good to have multiple ways to make fire. Lighters run out of fuel. The flint wears down. They aren't wind/rain proof. In my fire kit I have: 2 bic lighters, a torch lighter, storm matches, a fire steel, a Fresnel lens, and some tinder. I may have to look into a fire piston.

If I could only have one way to make fire, a lighter wouldn't be it. I would probably go for a fire steel.

  • Ok, seriously, not trying to be a smart ass, but if you are going to carry this thing in yor pocket why not just bring a lighter? I don't get the logic.

  • @Casper48022 I however would use char cloth

cop: What do you have here a crack pipe some black sheet of paper and a plunger.

dude: I can explain. It's a fire piston I use it to light ciggarettes.

cop: What the hell happend to your lighter?

dude: It ran out of lighter fluid.

cop: Can I get one of those?
