Bill Johnson was my favorite skier growing up. I modeled my downhill technique after him (or tried to I should say). His style was similar to Franz Klammer's, going balls to the wall, with a finish 1st or DNF.......On another cool note, I was on the same ski team as Bill once was: Mt. Hood Meadows (MASRA) - Mt. Hood, Oregon. If you come across this video Bill, thank you for the many years of inspiration in the way you skied.

Bill Johnson told 'em that he was going to win it all. That pissed a lot of people off. Especially his international competition. But, he did it, and we remember 1984!
