  • Very nice videos. I've sold several Jersey Woolies to Japan and Thailand. Some of its my best stock and now I regret it! haha. I hope they are doing well over there. ;)

  • I understand the feeling (^^)

These rabbits are not wild animals. They are "companion animal" for being able fate it to live with human, so human owes the serious responsibility for these animals' inheritance and breeding.

If you face your pets' genetic anomaly or congenital dystrophy, you can understand the meaning of the show for better breedings.

The rabbit that I had only a few days ago becomes cancer in the origin inherent abnormal, and has died.

  • I love him!

  • Thank you !

  • I was thinking of letting my bunny go in a show but then i saw how they handle them :'(

  • i wanna join dis rabbit club

  • haha! There's no money in show rabbits! =) We do it for the love of the animals and the challenge of breeding a fine specimen.

  • The judge is not hitting his bum, he is smoothing the hindquarters down, they're feeling the slope of the body to assess it's quality. Sometimes they are trying to push the rabbit's rump underneath himself. It's called posing, similar to how they have dogs stand at dog shows.

  • BAHAHAHA she told the rabbit to sit and stay hahaha

  • Ot suki muchayut jivotnuh !!!

  • I can't hear the video [speakers unplugged]

But could someone tell me why they keep

    hitting the rabbits bum? ♥

  • Pardon me BUT, one of the issues with showing is to breed for a type. I think most breeders know little of what they are doing. They breed for type regardless of what issues the bunny may have. When you chance a rabbits basic morphology so it looks like a puppy, it is easy to get problems. I haven;t even mentioned in breeding (line breeding). Good grief!. I do NOT agree with rebeka, most breeders do not give a shit about anything but winning.
