I've been thinking... wouldn't garlic actually be more apt to effect werewolves? After all, werewolves have a highly developed sense of smell.

@XxStrawberryxJellyxX Indeed they do have an amazing sense of smell, but past events indicate they can fight through noxious odors, pepper spray, mace, etc., much more effectively than a vampire can.

Yes, they will carry weapons, and organized packs will have quite an arsenal, including assault weapons and explosives.
