#126 (First tune) in the Episcopal Hymnal 1940, also the 1st. tune I learned to play on the piano at 8 yrs. old for a long time with 2 fingers (treble & bass) EVERYDAY until my Dad couldn't take it anymore. He taught me to play it in chords (Dad was a Jazz pianist in NYC Jazz clubs). I went over board (over 10 minutes of 'throwing down') in part 1, so this is the continuation........

  • I have been a fan of yours for sometime now, and it is because of you, that I decided to dedicate myself to a profile. I understand that you are currently in the florida area, and would love to meet you in person.

  • @thepipedreamer2011 Thank you for your kind comment. Yes, I live in Florida but it's a large state so send me a private message and we'll figure out if meeting is possible as you could be in Miami which is 250 miles away from where I'm located (and has many more organs too). Drop me a line....

  • Wow - well, you know, when this first started, I was about to stop it. But something made me listen and then I was rewarded! Just fabulous thank you!! Those reeds! Where is the organ please? By the way, please tell the guy recording (or uploading) to leave all the reverb in!!

  • @classy8888 Thank you kind sir! But I'm curious, what at first made you want to stop it? This organ is located in the US (Florida) in a city just miles from Orlando (Disney World) called Winter Park. It's in a large and quite beautiful modern (2002 I think) Catholic Church. This is 1 of the original 12 videos that I first uploaded 2 years ago where I'm wearing the blue dress shirt. That videographer only recorded the original 12. The other vids where the camera is moving was recorded by my son>>

  • @classy8888 and the vids with the camera stationary were recorded by me. Please go to my channel here on youtube to read my bio where you'll get the full understanding of who I am as a musician/organist. If you enjoy what it is that I do, then perhaps you'd like to subscribe (hint, hint). Thank you for your most kind comments, and I look forward to traveling to your wonderful country (I liked your rather bold former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd) one day to play some of the great organs there.

  • I can see how you" feel it". Most people do not understand how it "sends us" to play hymns of the church. So beautiful.

  • @march131958 Thanks!
