As I found out later on. The next thing will be to simplify it to the point where it's a standard feature in the radio with no extra gear...

And the coolest part is that you have a whole lifetime of RC flying to look forward too. You'll probably see the next innovation which will likely be virtual flying where you fly your plane via a camera inside it!

instead of countering the elevator why dont you just trim it down?

a mechanical setup/correction is always preferred and is superior to just trimming on your TX.
