Cass and Frankie board the private jet, and Frankie wonders where the client is. Cass says he's sure the client will be here, and asks Frankie what the matter is. Frankie says she's just kind of tense. Cass says he is too, because there's a lot riding on this. That's what Byron said, and Frankie asks if it's a big financial thing. Cass says no, it's personal. When the jet's engines roar to life, Frankie says this isn't what it seems, and then panics that Carl is the client and that he's sabotaged the plane, so she starts pounding on the walls of the plane and yelling, and Cass has to pull her away from the wall and tell her to relax. He gives her his solemn word that this has nothing to do with Carl Hutchins. He adds that this has to do with a merger, and the man is desperate. When Frankie notices that the food in the cabin is vegetarian, Cass says the client is her kind of guy. That's when Frankie realizes the client isn't Carl, and as Cass says, that's right because Carl is a carnivore, always was, and always will be. Then Frankie realizes they're moving. Cass tells her she's right, as always, and Cass sits her down in her seat. Frankie starts freaking out that they're being kidnapped, but Cass just fastens her seat belt for her as the pilot says over the intercom that the weather is clear and the flying time to Venice is approximately 10 hours.

"Venice?" Frankie asks. "Venice, Italy?"

"Well, not California, baby, that's for sure," Cass replies as he sits back and fastens his own seat belt and tells Frankie to sit back and enjoy, and Frankie starts to wonder out loud about papers that had to be signed over Pennsylvania and the client.

"I'm the client," Cass confesses. "We're the clients."

She looks at him. "We're the merger?" she asks.

"Oh, I sure hope so," Cass replies. "In case you've forgotten, Mary Frances, I intend to see that all of your wishes come true. This has become my life's work." He smiles.

And as she smiles back at him, Frankie realizes what's really going on: Cass is taking her to Venice, which is one of her three wishes!

"You mean it?" Frankie asks, teary-eyed.

"Wasn't Venice on the list?" Cass replies.

"Cass," she whispers. "Venice?"

"Yes," he says simply.

Then she speaks out loud again. "Venice, Italy, on a private jet?"

"It's the only way to fly," he replies.

Frankie starts laughing and starts to lunge out of her seat towards Cass, but the seat belt holds her in place. They both take off their seat belts, and Frankie launches herself at Cass and showers him with kisses and then they embrace, and they are Venice bound for the first--but not the last--time! Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

  • This is so sweet!!! I LOVE it!!! Frankie's escalating joy at the realization of Cass making her wish coming true, and then the adorable moment where she lunges to embrace him but is yanked back by the seat belt, LOL! Touching and funny at the same time! One of the BEST Cass & Frankie scenes EVER!!
