INFO: Strictly Incognito is the title track to bands self-titled debut album released on Virgin Records. The band was a one-off project. Strictly Inc. was Jack Hues [of Wang Chung] (vocals) and Tony Banks [of Genesis] (keyboards).

He'll be known as Dan

But what he didn't realize as he was

But fourteen year old Sara Lee was watching

It wasn't Jennifer who kissed him
Cos when Dan took her hand he held Sara Lee
She knew that she could convict him

So Dan got ten years to dream in state detention
And lost the use of his car
And all because his waitress Kaye forgot to mention
It's not always clear who we are

Now she's waiting tables in Paloma
Near the Four-O-Five
And there's another twenty-eight personas
Keeping her alive

@mimefan This is what Tony Banks had to say about the song, "Jack (Hues) showed me an American newspaper clipping about a guy who picked up a 25-year-old waitress who turned out to have multiple personalities. When he was having sex with her she was in the guise of a 14-year-old, so he was sent to jail for having sex with an under age girl. It's fantastic! If you study the lyrics of 'Strictly Incognito' it all makes sense, but you need to listen to it a couple of times to get it."

Tony Banks and Jack Hues lovers should really view this video - this project was such a joy to hear. I still play it on and on and on.... :)

@Romo37 Oh. OK, I thought it involved a dead body or something. Still, how could he be arrested for having sex with an underage girl, if she wasn't actually underaged.

I don't get this song. Is Kaye Jennifer? Is Kaye dead? Why is there a 14 year old girl watching them? Why was he arrested? Why is blueberry pie significant? Is Jennifer 14 year olds? What the hell is going on in this song?

the CD of this in general is so RARE now to find!! Been out of print for years!! true collectors item. Tony said it right himself "My music is what the collectors are gonna be going after". He couldn't have said it any better LOL
