About Video: its about native life and issues that happen on my res. and also happens on other reservations ,also to other nations .. i wrote this song about my cousin that overdosed and left this world to take his journey to the spirit world, during the end of the year 2010. and the issue of drug and alcohol abuse and its presence. and what it does to the whole family. i had vision before he past away a week or two before and took it to the tribal council...about these issues..and and asked them what we were gonna do about this, my answer from some of the family was that we cant make the kids do anything and that they should learn by experience. my response to that was that me being an X addict and alcoholic ,why would we put are children in the same spot as some of us have been in, and hope that they would pull them selves out of the binds of addiction.. When we as a nation and tribe need to come together as one to give KNowledge and speak of are past to let them know that weve gone threw it and dont want them to make the same mistakes. And let them Know that some of are own people never made it back and died from it. And that these days the drugs are alot stronger and not easy to let go they will get real sick from it or even die! so after the tribal meeting some agreed and some didnt listen and look what happen...My cousin died a couple weeks after as well as my godmother falling ill and passing end of jan 2011, beggining of feb 2011. Its been a rough year for both familys ...and i really pray and hope that these things really opened up the whole tribes EYES....so this is the story of (TROUBLE) and it might just make you think also..lets teach these next generations .....
