And trust me whether you are white or black, if you're playing a defensive position you're gonna enjoy hitting anybody, because that's how you get your paycheck!! @dwid1984 Yea he missed just about all of last year. I think he played only 5 games. They drafted Mathews because they obviously dont see Hester as a feature back. But hester isn't small, he's 5'11 235....And I dont remember talks of him replacing LT. They frachised Sproles during LT's last year in SD. So I would assume They looked at Sproles as the replacement. That didnt work so they drafted Mathews. They drafted Hester to make constributions to the team. He's doing it as the FB

@ahjrome so he didn't miss time last year for injuries? Thats the whole point, why spend a 1st round on Matthews when there was talks of Hester replacing LT? Why draft Hester in the first place? he was questionable as a fullback because he has the size of a tailback. In fact hes probably the smallest fullback in the league, there are tailbacks bigger than him.

Patriots listed Tom Brady on the " injury " report for 3 straight years.The reason he didnt pratice last week was because he had a root canal done. Yes he has a calf injury, but he isnt expected to miss any games. You right about him in college though, but he missed only one game his last year in college. That was due to a concussion....But they signed him to a 5 yr 26M deal. To much money invested in him to play Hester

@ahjrome Matthews is injured...as we speak he is questionable with a calf injury. The only reason why he might get a chance to play because he happened to get injured when they had a bye week, otherwise he wouldve missed a game. He missed quite a few games last year because of injury, and missed time every single season in college due to injury. He hasn't been able to stay healthy for one complete season since high school, if thats not a red flag, I don't know what is
