Maine Attorney General: I am appalled at the Yes on 1 ads

Even before penning her official response [to questions regarding claims made by the Yes on 1 ads], State Attorney General Janet Mills said today, she's aware of the [Yes on 1] ads, and pretty sure she knows what her answer will be.

"I'm appalled at those ads as well. I have no reason to believe that a vote on Question One allowing the law to stand would dictate any change in the curriculum in Maine schools."

Yes on One ads = False Advertising.

It seems like common sense to me that gays should be allowed to marry if they want to. What harm does it cause? Schools will teach children to respect one another - whether they are the same or different, everyone is human, everyone deserves the same rights. The opponents to gay marriage (Yes on 1) have ignorant and hateful messages. Love is the answer, or at least: live and let live.
