  • I'm currently restoring a Galaga CP, and I wanted to know where I might find the rubber strip/padding you applied to the underside.

Also, where did you pick up your overlay? It looks like it was well-done.

  • @dyoung531 I actually used a felt adhesive strip, instead of padding. I had a hard time finding a rubber or foam padding locally, so I just went with what I had. I had to cut the thickness down with a razor also. The overlay was purchased on eBay, it was a good reproduction, but the blue color should be lighter. That was my only gripe.

  • Dude!!! My parents love this game even today they play the NES version.

  • I never played the NES version, I might have to check it out some time. Nothing beats the original arcade feel though.

  • Man that's in great shape and what a beautiful cab you got there. This is one of my favorite retro games for sure. Have you ever played the more rare Joust 2?

  • @Gamester81 I have never played it, but I know what the game cabinet and game play look like. Thanks for the comment.

  • Outstanding. I hope you're making other videos of this restore.

  • Way awesome man! Looking forward to more videos about this cab.

  • i love galaga i use t o and still do it a little go to an arcade and olnly play galaga i like the nes version but the arcade is the best

  • You got that right. But back in the 80's we couldn't afford an arcade so the next best thing was the NES.Now that I'm 30 things cost less depending if its rare. This Bally Midway is gold indeed.
