  • There's no reason in this world for a CEO of United Health Group to be making $190,000 an hour. I currently have United Healthcare from my employer and my jaw fucking dropped when I found out he made 700-800 million in a year via salary and stock option in the company....I mean what kind of economic system do we have in this country when CEO's of healthcare companies are leeching off billions of dollars a year. Pathetic.

  • it is not a nazi policy the death panel thing is a myth republicans made up and yes the bill isnt paying for itself but i think a little more taxes for health care that you will get even if your sick already is much better than paying a little cash for health care where hmo's are looking for any retarted reason to not give you the help you need besides its a public option you dont have to take it and whats so bad about a public option the english and french have it and they have way better care

  • Damn that reporter is slammin hot!

  • Please vote for Sean Bielat!

  • The real problem here is that this is a country divided. Check out the plan that Mitt Romney put into place in Mass. just a few years ago. It is almost identical to this health care plan.

If you're getting your information on what's in the bill from the media, I would direct you to the Library of Congress website, where you can read it for yourself.

  • If they'd get the deficit under control I'd be fine with changing healthcare laws, but right now it is not an appropriate time to do so given the extreme upfront cost, and how it will add to the already huge deficits. In principle, I'm not against it, but right now given our financial situation, I am very much against it and it represents how stupidly naive Obama is.

  • I don't have an objection at all. Obama and co. are running up the deficit with this "affordable health care" plan before there's even a chance for it to have any financial benefits. That's extremely irresponsible, so no, I am not in favor of it. We have to pay our bills and bring down the ridiculously high deficit first. For him to be even thinking about adjusting healthcare now while we have such record deficits is just plain stupid, but not surprising given how naive he is.

  • 2 days & no answer!

    take a seat son

  • Please highlight when I claimed to be a doctor & yet again you dodged the question

what happens when your insurance will only pay out $20k of a $50k cancer treatment?

You are just quoting Hannity, Beck and O'Reilly.

please try to formulate some thoughts that are original, or maybe thats a problem, especially to someone that sees the word doctor and immediately assumes that the writer is a doctor.

  • Not nitpicking at all, retard. If you claim to be an intelligent doctor, then you should speak and write accordingly. That's very basic, and if you can't comprehend that, then you really are dumb. I maintain that the healtcare system here is not bad at all - it's among the best in the world. For the government to be meddling with this right now in the midst of unheard of deficits is very stupid.

  • I forgot to say "your", instead, I wrote "you" and omitted the "r"

sorry if that was important to you,

but nitpicking on spelling is just a distraction from my previous post that you haven't addressed.

You can keep up the personal attacks, I don't care.

I will just reply with the facts that you are dodging, so I say again,

what happens when youR insurance will only pay out $20k of a $50k cancer treatment?

  • I have to wonder if you're even a doctor....you can't spell properly, leading me to believe you are uneducated.
