from a earIy age I watched my father struggle with exmphysema which was a slow and painful death for him, He never was able to throw ball with me as a kid and what we took for granted like walking from one room to another was a painful thing for him to do, imagine Gasping for air doing a simple thing such as walking just from one room to another! I grew up watching my dad suffer from the effects of ciggerette smoking, I was only 22 when i finally lost him to the disease, I never smoked and I actually hate the smell of it so bad that it physically makes me sick to my stomach.. It's never too late to quit because you can improve your health to some degree and it will add years and years to your life, Do it for yourself, Do it for those that you love, My father died at the early age of 54... I posted this only to inspire those who are wanting to quit..
my dad is 48 and a very very heavy smoker and he can't run about without getting out of breath either
i'm so scared that one day he will go
i've told him i'm scared he will die but he just won't listen
