@scorpianofthesun Oh. Okay, thank you for clearing that up.

@ledgend209 Well, it can be to ease herself or a pain or people can see it as a symbol that she is dying and so, coming back to her childhood;
-
@AnneStudio It is because of something in the make-up that destroyed the skin. So to hide it, ladies put more and more make up but that's an endless waltz.

why does she put on so much powder? the previous queens (even her mother) didn't put on that much!

@PrincessRima13 Anne Boleyn was executed, yes. Skip wives 3, 4, and 5 too get to 6, Catherine Parr, who was Henry VIII's wife after wive number 5, up until his death. Catherine was Elizabeth's stepmother. When Henry died, Catherine married Thomas Seymour, which, I guess you could say, would make him Elizabeth's stepfather.

@faeryquene What is all those calls to defend the rep of a woman/monarch as she was, by default comparison with Vatican, Popes, Rabbis, dalai Lamas? WTF! Were those her only declared enemies? Do that makes her the alternative white Popess? Not even fellow monarchs, females or relatives in the island she respected, or anything else for that matter, as ego maniac as dad. The pity all originated from self-hate and inferiority complex. I do not understand the CULT this woman or her father inspires

God save Elizabeth I.
Ann Boleyn must be very proud of her daughter.

the finger in the mouth was her way of coping with the pain caused by tooth decay. She died from complications of tooth decay. She had a huge sweet tooth and let's not forget dental hygiene was almost unheard of back then.
