Zula

The doctor has handed out to Zula, a fifteen years old boy, son of TANGENI, single mother of two, a prescription paper. The fate of his mother lies in his hand; he must buy the medicine prescribed by the doctor while the latter is gone to the big city hospital for further assistance required by the condition of his motherʼs impending death.

Still a teenager and destitute, Zula finds a moment of comfort by the riverside meditating on the fate of his dying mother. Itʼs then that he meets with LINDY, a younger girl of like age, who would later introduce him to his elder brother NICKO, the leader of GANG that terrorizes the whole town.

NICKO confiscates ZULAʼs motherʼs prescription, and promises to give it back and buy the medicine provided that ZULA joins the GANG in their dirty business.

Just when ZULA joined the in the expectation to get some money for her motherʼs prescription, NICKO gets killed by his very right hand man, PAULUS.

ZULA must go on now on a desperate chase to look for the prescription paper since PAULUS ran away with all of NICKOʼs stuff including the prescription.
