  • Thin picks are good when starting out, you might have mentioned that already though...

  • interesting...can't say I've heard that one...I tend to tell people that you're eventually gonna be using heavy picks so you might as well jump right into it...but if that gets you the sound you're looking for faster, why not?

  • @manifestgtr Hehe, yeah. Heavy picks are good when playing fast, but when you're new to playing and you want to learn that "sweeping" motion I think it works the best with thin ones, and when you're comfortable with it you can try to use heavier ones. Heavier picks usually gives you more attack to the strings. Personal opinion though
