I think you're lucky you work with super gentle horses...

o my i wish my horse was like that! She is a female Clydesdale and when i first used to ride her she would always nod her head and do the little sneeze type thing and i don't think she really liked the bit! When i trot on her she takes really long strides so she is really bouncy and when i ask her to stop that is important well with any horse! When i went on trail one day i lost my balance a little bit so i asked her to stop i'm going to finish on another comment i'm running out of room!

i have a female Clydesdale that doesn't like her bit and is always shaking her head and i could tell she was uncomfortable! She takes really long strides when i trot on her so she is bouncy and i really have to hold on with my legs, when i get tired i want her to stop right away so i don't fall and when i was on trail she wouldn't stop and i almost fell off! now i use a hack and she stops better! I wish she was that way!

Thank you for visiting thephbalance. If you do your ground work especially the lateral flexion. It pays big. When you work on the lateral flexion gently put pressure on him til he brings his head in towards you. Don't forget to bend your elbow. Apply pressure do not pull him.
