FAQ

Q. Can I train range/str on monks instead?
A. I'd rather you train on chickens as they barely hit you and they drop meat and feathers, both of which you'll be needing later on.

Q: Can I start training str now? I have 20-30 ranging already.
A: I'd reccomend you wait until 40 ranging as you might not be able to finish vampire slayer with the stats you have now. And Vampire slayer is a really big help, mind you.

Q: When can I start pking?
A: Once you can hit a 10 with addy arrows and at least a 16 with R2h, using pot and pray. Any lower than that and you'll be getting owned big time by mages.

Q: What does 'poweranging' mean?
A: Continuosly ranging without picking up the arrows. It's much faster exp than regular ranging, but a waste of arrows, so I reccommend you do this only with bronze arrows.

Q: Why shouldn't I train att on dummies till 8?
A: That's only what people with no other good combat skill should do. By the time you start training att or str, you should have at least 40 ranging. Forget dummies; they're slow. Vampire Slayer is gonna raise your att straight to 20.

Q: Should I bank cow hides?
A: Yes of course, as they're very good and easy money. I forgot to include this in the guide so I'm adding it here.

Q: What should I use lamps on?
A: On hitpoints or prayer, as they're the hardest skills to raise.

Q: Restless Ghost gives good prayer experience, should I do it then?
A: Definitely, but only when your ranging level is above 50, as prayer isn't effective at low levels.

Q: A viewer says,"omfg....wut would u do with a lvl 60... u need to make it lvl 55 or below for bounty hunter u noob...."
A: To all you people out there who are new to pking and were about to post a comment such as the one above, I made this video pre-Bounty Hunter, that is, when there was the wilderness. Find out from someone else what the wilderness was, if you don't know.

Q: Why 45 prayer instead of 44?
A: Because at 45 prayer, eagle eye lasts significantly longer than at 44 prayer. I forgot the exact duration it lasts though.

Q: How do you get money for the arrows when you're just starting to play?
A:The arrows you got from the tutorial, and random drops such as coins, goblin armor,feathers,etc. These should last you until 10 ranging, from which onwards you can start ranging cows easily. Once you can start ranging cows, you shouldn't be having any problems with money, as cow hides sell for quite alot.

Or you could just go straight to ranging cows if you want, though it might be quite difficult.
