On October 29, 2011, the northbound Texas Eagle was running about 4 hours late. I grabbed my Canon Vixia HV30 camcorder and headed to Wicks Crossing on the UP DeSoto Sub, about 15 miles south of downtown St. Louis. Here we see the Eagle, led by AMTK 170. Also of interest is the track signal on the left as the train recedes into the distance. The familiar round trio-light signal has recently been replaced. However, the dwarf signal protecting the siding remains unchanged. Enjoy!!
