they had a white man that drove an 86 he had to get the same bus each night i think it was 2222. he would get it going about 70 on 1960 and always ran a redlight at wunderlich and at champion forest. when he pulled into hewlett packard he almost rammed the shuttle several times. he nearly hit one of security,s cars he did hit my homeboys car if i stopped at the shell on louetta 249 i waited until he passed i was afraid he would hit my car

you should see how they drive that 77 going to mesa/tidwell once they get on liberty rd they drive like bats out of hell. i was in a orion VII the driver was cussing the bus because it would only go 65 on liberty rd. he took up the whole rd straighting out a curve and ran a rr track without stopping

the metro bus could not stop in time cuz it is not like cars they are more harder stop. the buses comes to a complete stop longer

most transit buses weight 25,000 to 40,000 pounds depending on the bus. Your adverage cars weight anywhere from 2500 pounds to 4000 pounds. your car would stop quicker than that bus. ontop of that, you dont have 40 some people behind you to worry about throwin around because you decided to stand on the brakes.

Try pausing it as soon as the light turns red - after a few tries you should get a frame where the bus is marginally _behind_ the stop bar.

His front bumper was marginally past the stop bar when the red light came on. This shouldn't be a ticket.

Stopping a bus isn't like stopping a car... I don't understand why people don't understand that. Drivers have to deal with a load a sue-happy passengers who are just waiting for the driver to hit the brakes so they can hit the floor. The driver used good judgment deciding not to make a stop. The driver possibly just saved tax payers thousands in legal fees.

yeah but those drivers ae taught to stop for yellows and to pretty much time the green so they wont get caught in this situation. I know cause I used to drive Metro buses. We where taught the Smith system in safty driving. this is just a plain case of hard headedness.
