A brief tutorial on what you can do with the Activities feature in KDE4, the caveat to your already robust workspace provided with KDE.
This tutorial is done the Fedora 14 Distro.

  • Thanks, I've been wishing for something like this to come about without realizing it was available on KDE. I have some different use cases depending on what work I'm doing and this could be a massive help .. provided it goes beyond widgets and covers applications too.

  • @reidyj1 When you open a new activity, whatever current windows are open will stay open.

    They are however good for those people who are weirdly organized. Also this should help people who have been using the activities and accidentally messed up along the way.

  • I find the activities un-needed feature. As people wants to do multitaskin and virtual desktops drives all what is needed for those things...
