Winemaker Sandra Oldfield interviews Vineyard Manager Andrew Moon about his morning project of planting new Cabernet Sauvignon vines.
The water that digs the hole has a 20/20/20 nutrient mixture (Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Postasium). Then about 100g of Lassenite (volcanic rock from California) goes into the hole and finally the grafted vine itself. The Lassenite rock is very porous and helps to retain soil moisture for the new vine.
Check out the end with Andrew's awesome hip action!
