Downtown Fairfax has the potential to be a really cool center for the county and set the standard for town centers/downtowns in Northern, VA. It seems like Reston Town Center is the center of Fairfax County. I think they're winning over there. New development, new traffic pattern and still nothing... Come on Fairfax; people really wanna reason to spend money downtown and chill. Oh, one more thing I've always wanted to say. Fairfax County is known throughout the world for education, money, business, and its diverse population. We're proud of our parks waterways and tourist attractions, but when visitors come there's no visitor center. Sorry, but what we have doesn't count. This is a huge county and visitors and those of us who are proud to live here, want stuff. I could list a ton of things that make a great visitor center, but I think you all have seen some really good examples. At least a FFXVA sticker. I see so many OBX stickers that I'm starting to think the Outer Banks is in our county somewhere. Get it right FFX! Until then, learn from a really cool and successful visitor center, and one of my favorites, the Asheville Visitor Center in NC.
