  • Mr. Strong - while I appreciate the sentiment of asking for opinions re. gay rights... I am not to sure how appropriate it is to have an opinion on such an obvious human rights issue. One day it will be the same as saying: "Should blacks be allowed on white buses? Give me your opinion." White South Africans still blush a shocking pink at having voted on the rights of blacks to vote twenty years ago. By the way - I like your style. Tres chic!

  • Though I don't agree with all opinions or views I do believe that said opinions have a right to be heard. When we as a society start monitoring whose views and opinions we allow we run the rick of becoming shall I say communist!

  • What exactly is a "gay lifestyle"? Nelson Mandela and Bishop Tutu (two of the leading (black) human rights activists) disagree with you. That is why gay rights are protected in the South African constitution itself - the only country in the world to do so. I think I trust these leaders' opinions ore than yours. Catch up now. The bus is about to leave the station. ; )

  • your analogy to homosexuality and race is misguided. being gay may or may not be a choice but living the gay lifestyle is a choice and that's why we are here. the government doesn't ask you whether you are gay or straight. sexual orientation has nothing to do with the issue.you can't compare an immutable characteristic (race gender etc) to somebody's behavior. A lifestyle is not a minority. Jews, blacks, and women were discriminated against for who they were not for who they were having sex with
