I agree, this could certainly do with a Firefly/Serenity face-lift. The original cartoon was awesome, one of the best intro tracks ever. But it needs updating in style for the new generation.
contin.) look at that show Firefly, the movie Serenity, Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers in the 23rd century, the Star Wars prequels, and go see the new Star Trek movie. There are also some great fan artworks done of your original characters that don't lose the feel of the original design. Your original design is great, but it's long past it's prime. Making everything look like Looney Toons just isn't where it's at anymore. From one artist to another. Mister D.
To Mr. Neal Addams. Please give this a face lift. The super-toonyness look of the thing over all is what's making it fade away into the "did this ever really exist?" mind-set. They will be the same characters, the same plot, it just needs to look a bit updated. Even kids as young as six can't take this art style as cool or fun anymore. Do some research , watch shows like storm hawks, watch some anime (cont.
Yes, I forgot to correct this after pulling out copies of "Echo of Futurepast". That was the comic of origin for the series. That book was co-produced by Neal, and Neal wrote / illustrated "Frankenstein, Dracula, Werewolf in the opening issues. Good catch. I think this does replicate Michael's original artwork a bit better.
Actually, Bucky was created by writer Larry Hama and Michael Golden was the artist for the comic. I'm unsure of Adams' involvement with the comic, but he did co-write the final episode of the cartoon.
Uhhh...Neal was the original creator / artist (his comic was far better than even the cartoon series). He probably did the voices all by himself on this "project". Neal. please keep "Bucky" going! I'm 40, a fellow animator / comic artist, and I think "Bucky" was one of the best ideas you had going...please keep the writing going yourself!

Well, actually Bucky O'Hare predates Star Fox by a few years.
