The RUF were actually trained and armed by charles taylor, the president of liberia. his troops in turn were supplied during their revolution by qadaffi, libya's infamous ruler. while in the past what you've said may have been true, the times have changed.

and this is why african americans should stop bitching about the slavery there ancestors went through..if it wasnt for slavery look were you would be living...i think all the freed african slaves that went back to liberia probly had a very nice time.. there great grandchildren arnt loving so much now though

Who is trying to compare Ghana to Liberia here? First of all Ghana can not be compare to Liberia. Ghana population is 23million while Liberia stand at 3.5million. Ghana has only Gold, little buxite and maganese thats why they depend so much on cocoa export. Liberia has 28billion tonnes of Iron Ore which can built Ghana four times, Gold, Diamonds, Rubber, Timber, Palm Oil, Africa largest Oil reserves, Platinum, Uranum, Palladum, Rothium, Zinc, Copper, Corbalt, Phosphate, etc.
