Near the halfway point of the 1994 Daytona 500, Todd Bodine's strong run ends abruptly after contact from Jeff Gordon sends his car head-on into the backstretch wall.

In this, the first race with roof flaps, Bodine's car lifted, but did not flip, yet the smoke from the incident led to Jimmy Spencer, Brett Bodine, Michael Waltrip, and Ted Musgrave wrecking in turn three.

  • todd is the youngest of the three, geoffrey is the oldest

  • Name a driver who didn't cause a lot of wrecks in his first couple of years. Just part of maturing in the Series, I guess.
