@aaroni666: Putting the ethics of exploiting emotions aside, it's really no different from, say, Budweiser plastering their brand at the end of a "thank you" video. I think the heated discussion is just an indication of a percentage of the population's distaste for WalMart. The real difference being that few people hate Budweiser (as a brand, the beer is not my favorite), and WalMart polarizes the population.

This is one of the most disgusting ads I've ever seen. How absolutely low. I hope most Americans can see through how shamelessly condescending and cynical it is.

"Support the troops. Buy our stuff." Walmart, take whatever shred of dignity you have and pull this ad.
