Yes, this capy looks pretty happy. The cage is a good size, the substrate has traction, he has hay to eat. The only problem is that the water is filthy. It is difficult to keep capybara water clean though so it could be that you just hit a bad time. Did the capy have some water he couldn't poop in for drinking?
