I cook my holiday turkey in a brown paper bag. Coat the bag (from the inside) with peanut oil. Coat the turkey with oil, salt and pepper. Place the turkey in a bag in a shallow pan and cook 10 minutes per pound. Watch me staple the bag shut- it is a riot! When the turkey is done watch the "volcano" of steam!

  • Looks fantastic and juicy delicious. I'll use my lower oven because it's larger. Still I will have to stay close to make sure that oiled bag doesn't burst into flames. Not that I think it really would. Better safe than sorry...

  • @basskillaz the glue in a food grade bag is made or corn starch,..... when you oil the bag like she did in the video you prevent oxygen from contacting any of the paper preventing it from burning,...... although paper is suppose to be nontoxic.... but on top of everything the burning temp of paper is 451 f...... sooo as long as its not touching a burner it would not burn anyway...

  • what about all the chemicals that the bag was made with?,.is that safe?
