Go, Blankenship! Keep talking! You just make Kennedy's position look better and better by comparison. Please, keep digging your grave. I have no desire to stop you. ;)

This is bullshit. Instead of talking of how to replace coal with renewable and nature-friendly energy sources they talk about HOW to mine coal. Until cold thermonuclear reactors can be built, use what is available: wind, sun, hydro power. Even nuclear power is cleaner than coal power stations. Coal mining must be abolished along with usage of oil and gas for energy purposes.

Haven't you realized yet that our world is ending. The worlds current energy supply is planning the end of the human race. It's stupid to keep it as long as we have. Side effects include: Drought, windstorms, Coastal flooding, erosion/dust storms.

Coal makes better medicine then energy. Hydropower has already proven to be more efficient than coal. It is reliable, provides more energy based on location on the map. Generators placed in the ocean can provide even more energy than the dams already built, something to consider for all the salmon fans out there, but while dams hurt fish Coal hurts everything. As for efficiency, well many massive energy companies are now switching to hydropower, google is a fine example.

man is this guy good at bullshit. ok machines do all the work - no HUMANS NEEDING ENERGY has a job, no money, can't afford to buy ANY ENERGY without money lol. mining is causing poverty not the lack of energy - this guy is truly mentally insane and so is the kennedy's if they can't see the obvious. MINING CAUSES GLOBAL POVERTY NOT LACK OF ENERGY we would prosper without energy from these insane corporations - I wish smart people were actually smart

Did you actually watch this? He's talking about the mercury and other toxic crap that is released from the burning of coal, also the wholesale destruction of the environment.

Migrate away from it, not "ban" it, big difference. And you don't think that's smart?
