Ending title track to An American Tail: Fivel Goes West (Universal Pictures, 1991), sung by the amazing Linda Ronstadt.

This is a great example of a beautiful song, sung by one of the greatest voices of our time.

"Steven Spielberg asked Ronstadt to record the title song, for the sequel to An American Tail, titled An American Tail: Fievel Goes West. The song she recorded was "Dreams To Dream". Although it failed to achieve the same success as its predecessor (Somewhere out there), the song did give Ronstadt an Adult Contemporary hit in 1991. 1992"

In May 2008, I lost my best friend and longtime canine companion, Boo dog. That evening, while I sat looking through old photos as well as more recent one on my PC, I heard this song playing on the upstairs TV where my two young children had been watching the movie An American Tail: Fivel Goes West. The song summed up many of the feelings that were in my aching heart. That night, I watched the credits to that movie several times. Here it is for any one else that might need it to move their heart
