I could not agree more!! I have no doubt that those who created the Consitution were men of great virtue. The problem we have now though, are men who easily succumb to the abuse of power and in so many ways!! To me, the issue is not the Constitution but those we put in power who lack the depth of integrity our forefathers had.

Some of these "men" who abuse power are women. There was an example recently where a woman in power showed tendencies toward Tyranny by adjourning congress to avoid

letting the peoples elected officials vote on an issue where it appears that she was at odds with the majority of Americans. This type of thing is getting all too common.

I am glad you took time to watch the video. Federal Government leaders from the Presidents to the congress to the judges have been abusing power by violating the principles in the Constitution for almost 100 years or more. The President was never given power to write executive orders, Congress was never given the power to tax personal income. Judges were only supposed to determine if laws were constitutional, not make laws. Both parties are guilty of usurping power not authorized them.

the consitution is like the Bible...it's hard to live up to.

Aside from that, does your book say anything about what is needed to prevent those in power from abusing power as in the case of Bush?

Read the book, The 5000 Year Leap, and see! It's my opinion that the two parties are just two different levels of liberalism, both violate the Constitutional requirement for limiting Government power, and almost all officials from both parties need to be replaced by Statesmen willing to bring the government back under the control of the Constitution.

And the question arises..how do you measure the integrity of a man or woman whom we put in power?

Anyway,I will certainly get the book. I was on Amazon and many who rewiew it claim its a must read for anyone who cares about our country...and I care! Thanks !!
