Minecraft - Detulux Tour Part 01

This might take a little explanation.

My girlfriend got into Minecraft back last year just before it went into Beta, and she got on to a server owned by a gaming group called the Malton Zookeepers via a friend of ours (they're cool guys, you should look them up sometime). Needless to say it didn't take much for me to join in either.

Originally we had a shed on an island in the middle of nowhere, and now we have our own town and a complex series of tunnels that took me bloody ages to dig.

Anyway, with the Adventure update the Malton Zookeepers fancy taking things back to square one as the current map is rather expansive and cluttered, which is fair enough. I wanted to film things as they are now just for posterity.

Yes, the framerate is choppy as hell and it's not the most thrilling video series ever but it's mainly just so we have a record of what we did.

Q. Why is it called the Detulux Village? What's a Detulux?
A. It's because myself, my girlfriend and a brilliant chap called Brigander are leftovers of a survivor group called Detulux Inc. on a game called Urban Dead. Incidentally that's where we know the Zookeepers from. We're basically a faction that squats in their server. Detulux refers to a webcomic series I work on.

Q. Can I come on the server and play?
A. That's not up to me, you'd have to check with the Zookeepers. It's not my right to hand over the server details. It'd be rude!

Q. Ye gods, this recording is as choppy as hell!
A. It's because I'm running Windows XP and it doesn't like having to do anything complex. Microsoft Word is about as much as it's happy to handle. Sure, I should get a new PC. You paying for it?
