At first the makers of this ad, DDB Brasil (an advertising company contracted by WWF) claimed it wasn't theirs. They later admitted this is a video version of the also-controversial print ad "Tsunami," which ran in a Brazilian newspaper so it could be called "punlished" and therefore submitted for awards.

DDB Brasil entered both ads in the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in June 2009.

This ad was shown only at the Cannes film festival, though a print version ran in a small Brazilian newspaper just so the ad creators could say it was "published" and submit it for awards.

From World Wildlife Fund:
WWF reiterates our strong condemnation and repudiation of this offensive and tasteless ad and reaffirms that no one in the US organization had any knowledge or any role in the ads creation and expresses its regret for any pain it may have caused 9-11 victims and their families."

whoever thought up this ad is not very good at their job, the planet is a powerful force that is killing us by the thousands so we should protect it, and on top of that message they managed to offend everyone who died in 9/11 and the indian tsunami by making it out to be a death contest

Dear WWF: It's not the amount of people that died that matters, it's WHERE they died. That's why only stuff that happens to the U.S. counts.

I have to disagree that whoever thought up the ad did a poor job, considering people are STILL talking about it today. That's generally the sign of an amazingly well made ad.

    2. it while we were yet sinners, (Romans 5:8) Christ died for us. Another tenet of the Christian faith that puts things in perspective is that all of our "good" works (righteousness) are as filthy rags according to God, (Isaiah 64:6) HE IS PERFECT and we don't know what that means because we are in a fallen state evidenced by the fact that we DIE. Bow the knee NOW not later because every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.(Phil. 2:10)

I will pray for you, Owen. I know how stubborn and cold hearted the spirit of atheism can be. We are His creation and He is GOOD not evil. Only a spirit of antichrist could say He is evil. Think of it this way. If He wanted to He could send every one of us to Hell forever and still be righteous and perfect. We broke His laws and the penalty is separation from Him forever. But He LOVES us and proved it by coming in the flesh and paying our debt of sin (anything outside the will of God) and He did

    2. patiently planning the NWO. The fall of the USA is not to be blamed on Obama and Bush, they are mere puppets who take their cue's from the power elite, those who own every corporation on earth. They're designing the fall of the USA because it is the last bastion of freedom left and must be removed in order to fulfill the plans of the Illuminati. Google Bohemian Grove. Things are not at all how they appear, don't be like the rest the world and close your eyes to it. It's all in bible prophecy

It is like the bible says, we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph. 6:12 There is a hierarchy of men involved in secret societies that surround themselves with symbolism and esoteric, secret knowledge that is learned in degrees. It is the way of their leader, Lucifer. At the very top, the men are the most powerful, completely given over to Satan and

I'll pass thank you. And that will never change. I would turn my back on God himself if I had to, if he did exist. I can and will never accept the word or love of someone as evil as God, who if he does exist is truly the most cruel, sadistic, evil, cold, callous and totalitarian individual there ever was. I'd go a step further than I don't believe in God. I hate whatever God does exist (which I doubt he does) with all of my heart, and that will never change.

And you say you were a Christian who studied the bible? You don't even understand the propitiatory sacrifice of Jesus Christ never mind soteriology. Being a "good" person has nothing to do with our salvation. No wonder you deny Christ-you don't even know what He did. Christ payed the penalty for our sin and no amount of works can save us. Eph. 2:8 His gift is FREE. All you have to do is confess your sins, be sorry for them and ask Him to forgive you for them. He comes into your heart, your saved

And I don't even know where to begin on the Illuminati and NWO. Of course powerful men gather to attempt to keep themselves rich and powerful and take the political power of others to prevent them from stopping their schemes, but it isn't based on ancient masonry and idiotic ancient symbolism, it's based simply on the ticking time bomb that is modern cultural capitalism.
