Russia & China veto UN resolution on sanctions against Syria

Russia and China have vetoed a UN Security Council resolution on Syria. The European-backed draft called on Damascus to end its crackdown on protesters, or face "targeted measures". But Moscow and Beijing said this could open the door to a Libya-style military intervention. RT's Marina Portnaya has the latest from New York.

I have no sympathy for the middle east anymore. They blame Israel for all their problems. The truth is the would be killing each other forever wether Israel exists or not. I truly believe these violent people need a dictator. They don't value freedom nor understand it. Democracy just will not work for these countries. No need to wast American or Nato lives trying to bring peace in the middle east. Let them determine their own fate.
