@BobTheMunificent Yeah some of the young women nowadays should do this ,never mind Zumba dancing ,they were just great .

Yes --agreed definately the best-I have come back to it a few times as I remember seeing it as a wee girl. It is helped of course by the beat of this brilliant Creedance track. Yes the routines did get worse and more literal ,as someone has posted, with the passage of time. This one is rawer and the better for it.

Excellent.This was actually rehearsal footage,which is why some of the girls loose the plot occasionally.And I believe the tape of the actual performance was one of the ones wiped by the Beeb,so this is all there is.Kind of bitter sweet too,as the routines became increasingly literal.A sort of wonderful "here's what you could have won" moment set against Flick Colby's hall of shame in later years that included Gilbert O'Sullivan's "Get Down",Bobby Pickett's "Monster Mash" amongst others. Sigh.

As said: clearly a rehearsal: normally the cameras would be threading their way through a sea of people.
Pan's in go-go mode are just too much for a faint heart (even in this resolution)!
