@ROCKETBOOM would have been a lot better if people weren't talking over it the whole time. You would think that in a video about a typewritter orchestra it would show at least a few seconds of the orchestra playing with out someone talking over it.

"Home decor" At least they're using them, when the old type writers give out, then the collectors can have them, since just going to let it sit there, hoping that no one will try to actually use it. I was with you until you said home decor, as for The Boston Typewriter Orchestra, they can just buy new manual typewriters from Amazon; Olivetti MS25 Typewriter and the Walterdrake Improved Manual Typewriter are in stock. I don't know if they're still being made, but they're in stock.

That is really creative. You may consider using the electric typewriter instead of the manual ones. There aren't any manual typewriters in the market anymore. Even there is, the quality of the new manual typewriter is not built as strong as the old ones. I looked for a manual smith corona typewriter (50's) for long time. I finally bought one from ebay for $71.
