He's massively pushing toxic skin-products designed by multinationals who are obviously using the show as an outlet. I've even seen him push skin-peelings with acid. No natural products on this show.
Anyway, they're making WAY TOO MUCH of a deal in every show about not going against the grain, when many guys CAN go against the grain without trouble and manage to shave doing so very rapidly without any lesions or irritation.
