Yes of course!
-
@tgseason12 and the fact that any all-knowing God would clearly see through an ingenuous selfish motive for belief.
-
For future callers, you do not have to lie....

Pascal never said you would be punished for not believing. The wager does say "it is better to have one and not need it than need one and not have one". Religions are the weapons of the afterlife, just like education.
-
@pompousprick of course he does, but it has nothing to do with his views and beliefs

I don't think Matt qualifies for the 'slightly' overweight category either.
-
@OldUgly that's simply memetic survivalism. if you were a king, would you want someone else to question your kinghood?
-
@htomsirveaux42 love your explanation
-
Pascals wager fails the second you realize that there's more than one religion.

lol win!
Don't believe in Cthulhu, he will eat you.
Believe in Cthulhu, he will eat you.
Never heard of Cthulhu?, he will still eat you.
You see we will all be eaten!

@gupsphoo He said that the individual who responded with "4" was correct, which represented Islam. 3 and 5 represented all the other "wrong" religions or Christianity, hinduism, scientology, etc. Honestly, who gives a shit; I try challenging teens my age (bible thumpers) about philosophy and the best thing they can do to prove God is bible verses. LMAO. Or how about little kids who r too young to understand. they've all been indoctrinated. Religion is retarded tbh.
