'The flow of the consciousness that constitutes immanent time not only *exists* but is so remarkably and yet intelligibly fashioned that a self-appearance of the flow necessarily exists in it, and therefore the flow itself must necessaily be apprehensible in the flowing. The self-appearance of the flow does not require a second flow; on the contrary, it constitutes itself as a phenomenon in itself." Husserl Lectures on ITC
like the idea of continually being forgiven and so not being weighed down but our conscience is there for a reason so we are responsible for our actions
interesting.... delivery decent..., method is thorough, but seems inconclusive
concerning "higher order thought", seems rather bivalent when concerned with awareness of self... is it not likely that our observing selves organize orders of thoughts in a relativistic sense (such as higher than or less than) rather than in an absolute? perhaps symbolism plays a pivotal role in cross-thought-order transition? there are quite a few fascinating directions this can go...
this is some clever shit - listen carefully @zackindy the truth can be found in this drunken madman's rantings - he has a point and A BIG ONE - one day i imagine we will admire this guy.
Is free will something that all people have? What about a person who is mental ill? How do you know you have free will in ALL of your actions? Does God have free will?
I think your tripod may be a tad bit crooked.

A satisfying side path for thought, ty
One of my fav Husserl quotes:
'The flow of the consciousness that constitutes immanent time not only *exists* but is so remarkably and yet intelligibly fashioned that a self-appearance of the flow necessarily exists in it, and therefore the flow itself must necessaily be apprehensible in the flowing. The self-appearance of the flow does not require a second flow; on the contrary, it constitutes itself as a phenomenon in itself." Husserl Lectures on ITC

my head hurts...
I get experiences of nothing when I listen to Celine Dion's music... A zen like state that I don't think the Buddhists have even got close to.
Great vid. I could be a Christian Philosopher too, God help me...
