Jimmy Adamson's sixth league game in charge for Leeds here saw The Whites thrash Southampton 4-0 at Elland Road in front of 23,592 fans, the game played on the 25th November,1978. Arthur Graham, Paul Madeley, Tony Currie and an own goal from Ivan Golac saw United home in this one. Look out for the goals from Arthur Graham and Tony Currie, a bit special, and Ivan Golac gets his first league goal in England...Wahey.

I know that Southampton are hardly the best of away fans but bloody hell! there must only be 200 away fans there.

Currie's shooting and passing with the outside of his foot: special! Good saves from David Harvey as well.
Saints goalkeeper Terry Gennoe started out as a youngster at Leeds.

gosh I want one of those leeds shirts - I had the away strip in yellow back in 78 when I was at school - I used to parade up and down in it showing off! Leeds had the most stylish kits in the 70s.
