The Stench of Truth 143 The first step in any "restructuring" is to eliminate jobs from the bottom up. I ask the rhetorical question "why?". The reason is obvious that the corporations and the shadowy banking cabal that funds them care nothing for true business practices but only care for one thing and that is profit for themselves and reward for their loyal slaves. I predict that the thousands of jobs GM is cutting will not be enough to satisfy the rapacious debt holders. Chrysler, in the meantime has actually negotiated concessions, but my prediction on that one is it will not be enough. Sacrifices must be made after all, whether now or in the future, and those sacrifices are always the average worker.

  • Perhaps those firms who do not pay their CEOs mega millions do not need restructuring!

  • I'd imagine that might be correct.

  • GM now stands for Government Motors

  • Yeah. It is interesting to me that the pattern of government intervention and nationalization is not widespread but localized. This is not a Hugo Chavez socialist move, it is a crafty Fascist slow takeover.

  • Grant rant - and I totally agree. Here's the latest I heard on the GM deal: some workers will get to keep their jobs in exchange for further massive pay and benefit cuts, but that's not all. They will in return own 50% of the shares in the company. A company which is bankrupt. Ha. Ha. Sweet deal, huh? It's disgusting!

  • Thanks Ella, you are right and that deal is lousy as hell, of course. The bosses will get to go with a large pension I'm sure.

  • Agreed, Ted's channel is easily my favorite of all the ones I am subscribed to. He cuts to the chase and tells it like it is no matter how ugly. The trouble is, most folks would rather be told a convenient, candy coated lie than to be told a cold, hard, ugly truth. That's conditioning for you, I guess.

  • Your videos are what makes YouTube real.

Without them, YouTube is reduced to mindless corporate commercialism.

  • yes you are right 21000 wont be enough and it will be a bad deal for the worker ' the whole system is set up to keep the population in control and has been for a long time ' if you talk with some world war two Veterans about it' boy will you get an ear full about it all ' they have some great insight on the subjects of today ' i think the tech shit wastes lots of time '

blackberrys emails phone calls ' i refuse all of it at work ' a dry erase board and come see me ' thats my tech shit '

  • Exactly! Studies show that technology has actually increased work hours because people can now work from home and/or be on call 24/7 due to cell phones.

  • "The trouble is, most folks would rather be told a convenient, candy coated lie than to be told a cold, hard, ugly truth." All too true unfortunately.

  • That's companies for you.
