@Powerfulhound That's patently false. And even if it were true, it would still be wrong. They should not be able to "squash" views that, in their estimation are unsupported by research. They should allow those views to be freely expressed and then pick them apart if they're so easily refuted.
But of course, that's not what they do. They explicitly forbid views that oppose their ideologies, regardless of evidence, and there are even written mandates to promote their ideologies in every subject.

I think that professors try to squash views that aren't supported by empirical research. And pretty much all of them just want to teach the findings in their field. Some conservative people have called this "liberal vs. conservative," but this is oversimplified. And is mostly a way to get people riled up rather than to get them to listen to what the actual debate is about. And that's good, because Lou Dobbs likes to do the same thing rather than doing the job of a solid journalist.

evan got screwed by the promotion process for movies and documentaries. this doc was phenomenal and got next to no publicity...even on fox.
