Ok, so when you hit any mud the tire fills up, gets heavy and off balance and then throws the mud all up your back. Does it have to be an open design? Just a thought.

Expect sidewalls or fin like drawn/tensioned membrane structure to keep out debris. We will also have mud shedding traction system for that application...Many novel traction systems are possible when a composite hoop supports them.
