Gday John, from down-under, Best wishes for you new enterprise. I don't have an MG, but the tips are great for my two BMC cars that have much the same running gear, Paul
Ah HIF carbs. I do much prefer HS2's and Hs4's on my Mini and Hornet. Nice trick with fuel float valve, put the whole thing in a drill with a bit of fine grinding powder and spin it up for a bit while holding the free floating part of the valve, grinds in a seals nicely. Had my carb done like that for a few years now, no problems.
Hi John and thanks for the informative videos. I wanted to ask you if I am able to install a newer two speed model heater into my older 1974 MGB. The seller said I can with only minor change using only one of the two green wires connected to my single speed dash switch. Please advise if this is true and if the two speed heater will work with my MGB's electrical system OK. Thanks again, Sandy
John,
For door removal, would you also recommend the same method for a TR6? Thanks.

Small correction... it's the MG Experience website. MG Enthusiast is a whole different site.

Also found 10/40oil good for the dashpot.
